We are in Kalorama, and though it’s not as bad here as it is in Georgetown, old town, foggy bottom ,Palisades and others. It’s still a REAL problem here -and can I can even hear the planes inside the house even with a white noise machine on. Outside it’s ridiculous.
When I first moved here, I contacted the person who is in charge of noise complaints at DCA-he said it would be typically a 65% 35% north south flow meaning that 35% of the time at least we would get a break on the DC side. Since I have been here it’s been 96% North flow -basically every single day.
