My biggest problem with the show is the I DO moments. I'm trying to put myself in this bizarre world.

I talk through a wall, meet someone I feel I have a potential connection with, get to hang out for a few weeks in person, and then decide if I want the relationship to continue. So it would be like in real life talking to the guy on the phone for a few days, meeting for a date but then saying we'll commit to dating for a full month before either breaking it off or becoming serious. Ok, weird but fine.

So now I'm dating this guy for a month and the final day is coming up. Don't 2 decent human beings have a conversation privately at this point that "clearly this isn't working and we'll be going or separate ways tomorrow" or "omg, we are still having fun together, let's keep going and see what happens!"

How in the world does anyone actually get blindsided? If you're meant to marry this person, you're communicating and feeling confident about making that decision together. And how do so many of them keep on the happy face in the getting-ready scenes with their friends and family? I guess a lot of that is editing and carefully guided questioning from the producers, but it's strange that many of them go from talking about getting married (not "having a wedding" but actually "getting married") to a couple of hours later saying "I don't ".

My mom is a borderline personality disorder person. And watching Cole at that reunion I felt like...that was so relatable. That is what she does, she isn't even lying. And truthfully she doesn't think she is lying. I think he is immature, but I think she is the villain in that story.

All of this. No women at the bachelor party, but Zanab made up an entire lie about some woman Coke wanted to kiss. I had believed Zanab, and then all her credibility evaporated once she told that lie.

Zanab was projecting her own insecurities onto her restriction so she could fit into her dress, and blamed him. That's on her.

He said "are you really going to eat two?" Why the eff did he say that then? What is that, 70 calories? I think he started backtracking when he remembered the cameras were on.

He did not say that. He said: "Are you about to eat two of those?" There was no hostility or judgment in his voice (unless you're projecting, obviously) and then Zanab followed up about WHY she is voluntarily choosing to restrict herself (for her dress).

Jesus, as a woman who's struggled with weight and judgment most of my life, his question was completely and totally benign. It was his flighty curious question, and nothing more.

And what if he does that all the time like she said? Constant questions like that about what she’s eating? Your head is in the sand if you think that’s innocent and not damaging.

yeah but people change. Especially as a 25 year old man, he has a lot of maturing and growing to do still and I think he has it in him. He recognizes his shortcomings.

I can assure you that my now angelic DH was an absolute douche when he was 25, luckily I didn't meet him until he was 34!

I think Zanab was very cruel with her wedding speech. But seeing people say Cole will be a good husband some day is just the twilight zone. He has a divorce and broken engagement under his belt. Is a slob and insensitive (even though Z is hypersensitive). They’re just two different flavors of terrible. But I would personally rather be friends with Cole.

Something about him encouraging her to only eat salad etc. So I can see why she immediately got defensive at cutie situation BUT LETS not forget he literally was like “why didn’t you eat, I offered you poke”

Also SHE ASKED him to rate the other girls. WTF would any 30+ year old woman ever ask that to a guy she’s into?

And... where is the evidence of this? Or of the bachelor night allegation? Nothing that Zanab has said is proving any of her allegations. In fact, it's proving totally the opposite with the cuties scene, by offering her food and expressing concern that she hadn't eaten much.

I think after the pool thing, Zanab knew she was going to say 'no.' She went along for the ride, and very clearly premeditated her speech as some kind of revenge at the altar, and thought she was going to come out looking like a badass hero. And she's STILL holding stubborn in not admitting any failure on her part. Girl has so, so, so many issues.
