How about basic stuff. No motorized vehicles on the National Mall, sidewalks etc.

We could try that, but many posters are unable to identify motorized vehicles.

But they can’t. Because they can’t stop or chase and these guys know that. It’s already the law, it’s illegal in DC. Full stop

That is totally disgusting. Catch them, arrest them, fine them, confiscate the ATVs and destroy them.

Camera tickets. But if the police were to pursue a moving violation ever, would there be reciprocity for those?

MPD keeps running ATVs off at the pass. We can sleep with the windows open for the first time in months. Why can’t we have that every night?

It had to come to a tragedy for them to feel like they could do even a little. No wheelies tonight. Let’s just be DC

ATVs drove right through 100s of cops and a crime scene. Really, really?!!

This council is off their rocker.

Not at all. That currency is overused. I don’t care if you repeat it a million times. It’s not true.

You tell me what good has come if it though? I’l wait.

You also don’t know that it wasn’t ATV riders. Quite frankly.

Illegal is illegal

Oh no, just realized it was pedestrianized with huge police presence after an incident. But people who want to have fun seem to be having fun safely. Walking around, even despite the music at the bars, I can hear ATV noise over the bass, circling and waiting to get back in the mix. I hope they keep it quiet for all these people wanting to enjoy what’s really been a gorgeous weekend. Enough is enough.
