Temporary Inflation Fee is not a legitimate thing. That is a price increase disguised as a political statement. In this case, it is a 13.33% price increase and the TIF is taxed. If they need to raise prices because of inflation, then raise the prices proportionally. This way is some bullshit.
Raising the prices this way shows exactly what you're paying for. If the customer asks, point to the fact that fryer oil is 60% higher now or cheese is a 34% mark-up or any number of things. Customers have a right to know instead of the fees being 'hidden'.
+100
I'm glad a restaurant is upfront about the extra fee instead of trying to hide it with smaller portions etc.

Those both show an illegitimate, unjustifiable increase that is FAR MORE than the rate of inflation. That is greedy, opportunistic corporate price gouging. Place blame where it actually belongs.

Does Biden care about working class folks like me?

Keep telling everyone inflation is only a problem for 'luxury items'. You Dems are going to absolutely obliterated at the polls.
+1 Wait till inflation hits double digits. I wonder how Democrats will spin that.
Honestly I don't even know where to look to find 10% or higher inflation in the history books. 1929? World War II?
It hit nearly 14% during Saint Reagan's administration.
Which you can thank the Carter administration for.
Dp- so you can thank the TRUMP ADMINISTRATION for this.
Ha! Nope......the data blows up your argument:

Inflation started blowing up in April 2021. Well into the start of Biden's term. Multiple people warned Biden that adding over a trillion more stimulus to the economy wasn't needed and they it might make inflation bad. And what does he and the Democrats do? Immediately hand out free money as soon as he gets into office, largely to try to sway the GA.elections too. This one ison the Democrats, and it is going to come back and bite you in the ass so, soooooo hard. People are pissed.....but yeah, go ahead and keep telling us it is transient and that it is only luxury items. Dems are setting themselves up with a first class ticket to pound town later this year and also in 2024.
