He's still weaving when he walks, he shoved right into her, not sure if the hand grabbing was to cover up, if his am was bad when he was moving towards her to get her hand, or if she took his hand to at least get him walking in a straight line. Not fashion but that's what I noticed.

OT--when did leaders and their spouses start holding hands anyway? Who started it?

Yes! I can’t help but go over money when I see her choices. I do think Melania has a good sense of a luxury fabric, but the outfits and tailoring so often don’t work as a whole. I imagine this would be what, $10,000 minimum? The CH canary yellow dress, $8k? And yet everything lacks panache.

She had to find a dress in the Ukrainian yellow after Putin screwed Trump by going to Beijing. That was just 2 weeks ago. I'm sure they had to hunt high and low for a dress in that color that would send the message he wanted to send.

Are we actually saying that the First Lady dressed like a banana 🍌 to send Putin a message? For real?

Then why not sapphire blue earings?

I want out of this version of the universe.

I really wish we could see the shoes.

I keep seeing this but politely disagree with you all! I think a spring yellow is like a daffodil or a butter...lighter, more creamy, pale. This is saturated and reads as a late summer/early fall yellow to me.

+1
Completely agree. This is no pale, spring, pastel yellow. It's a deep, vibrant yellow/gold and perfect for late summer/early fall.

Disagree. It is not goldenrod, it is not yellow-gold, it's institutional industrial yellow. Caterpillar heavy equipment, for example. I can see iron railings in a factory being painted the same yellow.

Wait, wait ... the banana dress was on purpose! I didn't realize and now all is forgiven. Camilla's blue dress and Melania's yellow dress - the colors of Ukraine - were meant to send a message to Putin. I'm sure Prince Charles couldn't talk Camilla into the yellow so Trump forced Melania to wear it.

Bulletproof vest?

Yes, I think that's what it is. If you zoom in, you can see the entire front of his jacket is bulging out in spots.

Agree he’s probably wearing one. But theres a specific rectangle on the left side that looks about the size of an insulin monitor/pump.

To me it looks like he has an iPhone on one side and AirPods on his right.

I absolutely think that is Fauxlania based solely on the fact that she is wearing the same outfit Melania wore in the UK prior to leaving on Air Force One, and I simply do not believe that Melania wore that outfit in London (where she sat on the ground and was outside for a sustained period) and then kept it on for the entire flight to DC, and then wore it into the White House. That would be deranged for a regular person, much less the First Lady.

Any normal person would change their clothes on the plane, which I'm sure Melania did, and then they apparently had Fauxlania put them on so she would look more like Melania to people who don't think too hard about the images they see on TV.

This administration lies about the weirdest things, it's so disturbing. It's like they are constantly testing to figure out how much people will accept just so they know what the limit is.

Is there really a Fauxlania? And if so, was this ever done for other first ladies?
