Pretty sure no one has mistaken Drew for her boyfriend… just straight up bull trying to sell some Harlequin fantasy that riles up her fans into emptying their pockets.

BTW, search Drew King arrest and see two mug shots come up. These Kings seem pretty proud of their criminal history.

Hi Jason!

It’s felt like Jason’s weekly choose your own faith journey. We just couldn’t bear it any longer and needed more, it feels bad to say it, like Christianity in our church? They were always making apologies for old doctrines to the point that it just felt like a philosophy club. I could see ANC becoming a universalist church in a few years. Ny husband and I are definitely more liberal or progressive in our faith but we still wanted to go to a Christian church. Now we’re happy Anglicans.

The people were largely nice and welcome, though.

The youth group was sort of weak. My kids were teens and they were confused by a lot of it.

The Hatmakers weren’t ever around.

When the lead pastor calls Jesus “a truth but not the truth” I would seriously reconsider. I’m not letting my church play games with the Bible.

It was damaging when I devoted my time and money to a woman who wouldn’t let me use the restroom in her house and made
me drive to the gas station.

And if you’re an ANCer then you know how she treated Jackie and her bible studies.

I didn’t leave ANC because it was affirming. I left because I was treated badly.

Furthermore, I like her. I think she’s funny, witty, and fun! She has gone through changes, sure, we all do. I think she’s done it with grace so far. I think if she were as bad a person as some paint her here, there would be those who’ve been close to her who would’ve told all by now. She has a lot of life left to live and who knows how her story will go.

It's not the affirmation stance that hurt so many people, although quite a few left as a result. It's that it became very evident that the Hatmakers only used ANC as a vehicle to prop up their brand. That's what it was all about. The way they *handled* the we are now affirming issue was the corruption. Not the affirmation issue itself.

Jen led the church although she wasn't on staff or was an elder and her public announcement became something that Brandon, Jason, Tray, etc. had to immediately put into place, the church itself, the elders, the opinions of probably one half or so be damned. Jen was what they needed to serve, nothing else.

I live in Texas and had a friend die a few years ago in an ice-related car crash. I HATE when people are insensitive about ice on the roads here. Do you laugh when people in the northeast die of heat stroke? Places tend to suck at being prepared for weather they don't experience as often. I say better safe than sorry. Stay home and enjoy your kid and eat from your pantry, Jen. That's what I'm doing. I mean, where exactly do you need to be? It sure ain't Sephora, because that red face is still front and center.
