Eg, I would imagine that KM has a special connection to Fairfield to lead that particular conversation.
Ultimately, the player has to take the lead with excellent grades, going to specific college prospect days several times, and having the skills to play at the school they are targeting. JB or high school coach can reach out to the college coach to gauge specific school interest but they can’t magically create interest or offers if the player does not have the GRADES & SKILL!

Of course. Especially if it's Stone Ridge.

The number of Stone Ridge players not from Capital or a top MD club committing to play at a big time academic school has to be very small.
KM never had a problem getting MCE in to schools. Or her SR players. For sure you get more exposure playing club than not, though I can see someone not interested in playing that game.

So over the last 4 years of recruiting (2022-2026), how many SR players not coming from Capital or top MD clubs committed to play at big time academics? Is it zero?

KM takes the lead on all SR recruiting , and JB from Capital, for example, plays no role in the recruiting for SR players, right? That’s what I have seen suggested from some very knowledgeable M&D DC supoorters.
You've also seen it suggested that Capital takes the lead and KM palys no role. Like -- the above posts. But you're dishonest, so we get to read your snide posts.

I am interested to know who takes the lead on recruiting. Is is usually the club recruiting director, or the high school coach? In the case of the 2026 SR Yale commit, who took the lead? Was is Capital or SR? I appreciate Yale may have talked to various people, but what I want to know is who was was the primary/point person. Thank you for helping me understand the process!

You don't have to answer that question!

Why don't you check and let us know? Doesn't have to be immediate.

I was suggesting that the parent in question might have a kid with lower grades and less advanced skills, so the recruiting situation is not going well for them. I imagine players with excellent grades and high skills are doing well, but this may not be the case for those with low grades and mediocre skills. You misunderstood my point. I would say things are going pretty well with those commitments. No way a mediocre skilled player with poor grades is getting into any of the schools these players are committed to on Cap Blue so far...

The roster caps are definitely an issue for some.

The reality is, if you're not on Capital Blue, offers will be few and far between. You can get offers to some schools that don't have the name recognition, but nothing close to a Duke or Michigan. Even the back half of the Capital Blue roster will not go to top tier lax schools. They will get funneled to higher academic schools. It's highly competitive out there so set expectations.
This will largely be the case for the '26s. But for '28s, '29s and beyond, it's looking like it'll stack up quite differently.

Good luck to all the girls.

M&D DC supporter has entered the chat.

I hope the M&D DC ‘29s are paying attention to the Capital recruits at ‘26.
I can tell you they paid attention to the '25s, and what that high ranked team wasn't able to do. So maybe. Aren't there still like 15-17 uncommitted Cap Blue and how is Cap Orange doing?

You didn't mention feeder Pride Red? Oh, that's right, all their top players just came over to M&D DC. In 8th grade.

A one year detour before the majority try out for Capital next year.
Yeah. That happens all the time to Pride Red. They just wanted to make more friends.

Pride has been in a free fall since the 26’s left for Capital.
Huh? The '29s were about 15 all along.
the '28s finished 7th pre-dismantling. They actually ARE Capital rn.

If pride 29s were doing so well why did the majority of the team leave. Some to mnd dc and others to stars.

Where would she be if she is not at any of those clubs? Not trying to be rude but if she was good enough to go Ivy she would be good enough to be on one of those teams. But yes it could happen. Very low odds though. High academic D3 could happen for sure.

Not going to out but thx for input.
