Of course. Especially if it's Stone Ridge.

Where would she be if she is not at any of those clubs? Not trying to be rude but if she was good enough to go Ivy she would be good enough to be on one of those teams. But yes it could happen. Very low odds though. High academic D3 could happen for sure.

The roster caps are definitely an issue for some.

The reality is, if you're not on Capital Blue, offers will be few and far between. You can get offers to some schools that don't have the name recognition, but nothing close to a Duke or Michigan. Even the back half of the Capital Blue roster will not go to top tier lax schools. They will get funneled to higher academic schools. It's highly competitive out there so set expectations.
This will largely be the case for the '26s. But for '28s, '29s and beyond, it's looking like it'll stack up quite differently.

Good luck to all the girls.

I hope the M&D DC ‘29s are paying attention to the Capital recruits at ‘26.
I can tell you they paid attention to the '25s, and what that high ranked team wasn't able to do. So maybe. Aren't there still like 15-17 uncommitted Cap Blue and how is Cap Orange doing?

You didn't mention feeder Pride Red? Oh, that's right, all their top players just came over to M&D DC. In 8th grade.

The M&D 2030 team will have a better recruiting class than Capital Blue, M&D Black, and Hero’s Green. Mark it down.

ok now it is clear that you are a troll and just here to get a rise....have a good night

A one year detour before the majority try out for Capital next year.
Yeah. That happens all the time to Pride Red. They just wanted to make more friends.

that says much more about Pride then it does about Capital.....I hate to say that you will be very sad when those girls are all at Capital tryouts next year

My takeaway: if you are a ‘28 and not on Capital but want a top academic school, tryout next year.

I have heard that most of them do not prioritize the lacrosse ranking. They are not majoring in lacrosse, and most of them do not have plans to play professional lacrosse. At these highly academic institutions, players must meet the academic index, so they not only need to excel in lacrosse but also needthe grades to meet the academic index. If you are a highly skilled player but have low grades you will need to cast a wider net since there are too many skilled players with really high grades that will take the spot! Grades are really, really important and open the door for your player. I cannot stress that enough. I am hearing this cap blue 2026 team has one of the highest GPA of the 2026 class-- the committs so far reflect it.

Full scholarships? Please.

Pride has been in a free fall since the 26’s left for Capital.
Huh? The '29s were about 15 all along.
the '28s finished 7th pre-dismantling. They actually ARE Capital rn.

Cap 26 was #3 at one point and won the nationals.
And the 8th grade Pride 2026's finished at 9. The 2025's at 13. Not sure your point, but it looks like their classes are in line prior to the 2026 post- "free fall".
