Would anyone care to guess how many athletes got D1 scholarships from his swim team?
Ignorance is bliss and haters are going to hate. Have a nice day.
DG is no KL when comes to development for sure. DG yells just for the sake of it, which most times doesn't even make sense. KL yelling will make players better at the tactical awareness side of the game, and you do see results.

This is a false comparison for a couple reasons. Dave is a decent coach, but his style suits the boys better than 13 year old girls. Please don't get caught up in accolades GIVEN, as they are as good as the organization handing them out. Why isn't he having the same success on the girls side?
his coach of the year was for national high school soccer.
And his u14 girls were successful, and hes has success in the past with his girl teams as well.
I always wonder how folks in the DMV get these awards like State champs, coach of the year, All Met, etc and never have to compete against the private schools where the better talent reside. For MD All State teams, who runs that organization (not MSYSA) and what club are they affiliated with hence the bulk of players chosen are from said club.
Better talent in private than public schools around here? Did you think you were posting on the lacrosse forum? Otherwise that’s a fairly absurd statement.
lol. you think the public school teams are better than the private school teams? HAHAHAHA.

If you don’t like getting yelled at, go play at Metro United and get boat raced every weekend. Or have fun at a Tier II or Tier III club and play HS. If your DD manages to play in college and has not been yelled at by previous coaches, it will be a very short stint on that level...and perhaps in life. Would you rather have a thick skinned young adult or a cry baby?

Anonymous wrote:It’s great hearing parents critique coaches. Here’s all that matters: are they learning how to play correctly and are they having fun? If two yeses, then stay. If two no’s then don’t. If mixed then you and your kid should decide why they’re playing and make a decision or look for a situation with two yeses.
