Thank you for the compliment.

I am switching sides because, as we have seen in this whole thread, on side is capable of reasoning and civility and the other, well, seems to have other talents.

Civility from the party of the name calling juvenile, tweeting like mad from the white house. Yeah right.

In other words, you. I hope you realize that you're not helping your "cause". Quite the contrary.

Not PP. Really? You are a conned Trumpster from the beginning. We know you. Trying to pulla con job doesn't like the same way your master pulled a fast one on you.

DP. It's funny you think so, but not surprising. All an undecided voter has to do is read this thread before running - not walking - away from Democrats. You and your weird minions are repulsing people left and right (literally). So... thanks, I guess?

It's exhausting and futile trying to converse with people who are clearly not playing with a full deck and/or just plain trolls.

Trump supporters are the epitome of these things, either not very bright, crazy enough to believe right-wing propaganda, or just selfish. Reasoning and civility are not in their wheelhouse.

This is how far we've come in two years with these idiots.
The democrats refused to read the Mueller report. Mueller said he had good faith in Barr, Barr stated no obstruction no collusion. Case closed.

Clearly you did not read the report. You have no right to call anyone else an idiot when you are so clearly FOS.

Mueller quite clearly lays out a case for obstruction of justice. You can try to obfuscate the truth all you like, but it's right there for those who can read.

Just play with his approval interface. You see it hits 43% and it goes down, again and again. So he has a ceiling of 43% but he also has a floor of 37%. So his "poorly educated" base returns his love and won't convict him even if he shot someone on 5th avenue.

But 43% isn't gonna win him the 2020 election. more than 50% swear they won't vote for him. Thats a big problem.

Do you people even read the whole article, or just quote numbers that you agree with? Only 1,000 people were polled. These are the results from 1,000 people. And you're extrapolating them to the entire nation?? OMG. Please wake up.
"The survey was conducted via phone from April 22 to 25 in both English and Spanish and asked a random national survey of 1,001 adults. The poll carries a margin of error of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points."

Also, who even participates in phone surveys? We never answer the phone if it's a political call and I don't know anyone who does. Probably just people desperate to talk to someone, anyone.

Well, now if only "I have a plan" Warren can manage to secure the nomination in the Democratic primary race.

I find it hilarious, and a little sad, that democrats would point to current poll numbers as if it is meaningful in any way. What Democrats currently have is the euphoria of hope, thus far unexposed to any of the nasty infighting that will occur between now and the national convention to pick their nominee. What the voters have are not deep understandings of the candidates and their positions on issues, but fantastic idealized images of the perfect candidate that will defeat Trump. Look at this graph:

https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2020/president/us/2020_democratic_presidential_nomination-6730.html

Remember when Beto was so rad and awesome? Remember when Kamala Harris was so inspirational, walking out of those hearings in protest, what strength! Maybe Warren is pounding down beer in her kitchen to demonstrate her down-to-earthiness, or maybe she is just trying to forget her embarrassment. What we do see is that the two leading candidates for the Democratic Party is an old socialist, and a guy who has lost every single presidential run he ever attempted, and whose biggest campaign efforts to date amounts to an apology tour.

Now I'm not saying that Democrats can't pull one out of the bag, but as of now, I'm pretty optimistic that Trump will win in 2020.

+1.

Trump has many problems but also two big winds behind pushing him forward:

1) His results are actually pretty good.

Not to the Independents, college educated women and minorities. And they decide the election when he already has a 3 million votes deficit. 2018 showed PA,WI,MI are back in dem column. Az, TX,GA are the new battle grounds. Non cult Americans just want to see him gone. The cult alone can't win him 2020.

2) The Dem primary so far is about who's the craziest.
Maybe thats what the Australian channel and the cultists think.

Not what Americans are saying. A majority of Americans want universal healthcare.
https://www.cnbc.com/2018/08/28/most-americans-now-support-medicare-for-all-and-free-college-tuition.html

A majority of Americans want dreamers legalized and illegals legalized, EVEN IN fox news poll
https://www.foxnews.com/politics/fox-news-poll-83-percent-support-pathway-to-citizenship-for-illegal-immigrants

You are so full of your own delusions, you can't even quote correctly from a simple poll. The only illegals many people say should have a path to citizenship are those brought here as children, who are currently under age 30. NOT illegals in general! Only you and your crazy left-wing ilk would want all illegals granted citizenship.
"Today, overwhelming majorities favor granting work permits (86 percent favor vs. 12 percent oppose) and U.S. citizenship (79-19 percent) to illegal immigrants under the age of 30 brought here as children, provided they pass a background check."

Not PP. You are the delusional one. A majority of Americans don’t want a wall or dreamers harassed or deported or families separated. The Australian channel is just brain washing the cultists.

Incorrect. A majority of Americans may want to give citizenship to the "dreamers," but they most definitely don't want more illegal immigrants streaming in to the U.S. You can keep repeating your talking points and misquoting polls, but it doesn't change reality.

Meh.

Yeah that’s the problem. You don’t care about any decency, civility, decorum of high office, corruption, fraud, lies and attack on democracy or even being a Russia puppet . Then what morals you have ? The so called party of morals.

But for the unpopular tax cuts for the rich and harassing of brown refugees THERE is nothing he has done. Everything is just a pie in the sky, reality TV marketing. No wall has been built but he lies about it. Chinese trade deficit is at the highest but he lies that its great. I can go on and on.

Have some shame and basic integrity, otherwise you are just whores selling your soul to the conman.

DP: Reported this stupid and hateful post

There is no hate in that post but just truth. You can’t handle truth. I am sad the country has come down to this. It is sadness at the so much lies, hate and corruption coming from the highest office. Why don’t you be honest for a minute ? Would you be OK if Obama did all that Drumof is doing? If not, then you are the issue.

IMO you are, using your own language, the whore selling your soul to the conman. Remember who was the President while the Russian interference took place? Remember who helped create and ignore ISIS? Remember who promoted anti-police rethoric and violence that resulted in dozens of cop deaths and increased murder rates in dozens of cities? Remember who stole health insurance from millions of Americans and imposed heavy fines on millions more for not being able to afford crazy high premiums?

Yup, Obama.

No wonder so many voters didn't want a Dem third term.

PP, you can't take any moral high ground here. Obama was called racist names and harassed by the supremacists JUST BECAUSE HE IS BLACK. Imagine if Obama is like Trump, you think he could come anywhere close to even be selected by the EC? No chance. But the republicans, so called moral people, didn't care two hoots about a morally depraved man becoming president. People like you lose all credibility as long as you support Trump. No amount of trying to explain away Trump is gonna work simply because he is tweeting crap and destroying any defense you could build for him.

I do not want my America to be represented by such a person, democrat or republican. period. Why do you want us to be represented by a crook? I mean, we have many decent people. Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz, Nikki Haley, any one of them will represent America better. BUT NOT THIS MAN.

DP. I agree with the bolded, but the fact is, none of them are challenging Trump (that I know of). So we're left with Trump vs. a slate of looney liberals whose views *do not* represent millions of Americans. If Trump had a viable challenger - my vote would be for Nikki Haley, Susan Collins, or Dan Crenshaw - I would absolutely vote for that person. But so far, he doesn't.

2) Funny enough, I also favor, as a goal, both universal healthcare and comprehensive immigration reform. The problem is HOW. In both areas, what Dems are proposing is crazy -- abolishing the private healthcare that 200 million Americans have? That's a recipe for a major disaster. Promising free Medicare for all with no qualification or pay-in requirement? The country goes bankrupt. Abolish ICE? You must be kidding. Say merit-based systems are "racist"? That's racist itself. And on and on and on
