Homelessness responsibility, by and large, requires individual state response. Medicaid. Shelters. Food Banks. Jobs. Human drug response/laws.

These people aren’t just “anyone in the world” - they are our neighbors. Thier crises have become our crises because we are not meaningfully addressing the root issues that make Central America one of the most violent and impoverished in the world. No one is talking about helping everyone in the world; we are talking about helping people in Mexico, Honduras, El Salvador, and Guatemala, among other CA countries. Unless we do that, people will keep coming because they are desperate to survive.

Oh and by the way, most illegal immigrants come here through airports and overstay thier legally obtained visas. But don’t let facts about illegal immigrants interfere with your temper tantrum. No wall to the south will fix that and as long as people are desperate enough, they will find ways around walls and barriers, just like they do today.

We helped to create the mess that is Central America and yet aren’t willing to help fix it.




Hey - I didn't agree to any of this. WE don't determine which countries to invade. WE don't determine which puppets to keep in office. WE have no say over that.

So I'm opposed to just accepting anyone b/c the GOV'T made international decisions w/o my input.
