Infatuated men talk exactly like that - I was trying to find a quote from Baci chocolates that said something like “words of love sound so silly and that is why people sing them rather than say them”. So, yes, listen to 90% of songs out there - the lyrics are just as bad. But that is indeed the mental state that makes people write love songs, poems, and notes.
People usually don’t write songs about their 25year “strong and loving relationships” but about somebody they’ve just met and are “crazy in love with” -

Not really. Songs are written out of hurt when a long time partner leaves them because of cheating or selfishness. It wouldn't hurt a person enough if it was a person they just met as much as someone they have history with.

The kids are not famous . I love how folks love to hide behind the so-called well being of kids in divorce proceedings .
