I don't know why you think that would be the case because it's single sex. I don't ever hear of bullying at StA. Doesn't mean it doesn't happen, but it's certainly not widespread.

If you go with any year other than 4th grade entry, I would say it is in the 20-30 percent range for entry years (there are years where they might take a student or two, but the acceptance percentage would be very low). 4th grade is clouded because of Beauvoir. You can say it's easier to get in that year, because they take about 80 percent or more of the Beauvoir boys, or you could instead think about the admissions process as having taken place years earlier (in Pre-K and K). It's a Cathedral school so it will try to take from the Cathedral elementary.
I might compare it to Sidwell entry at grade 4, but think about what are the chances of getting into Sidwell grade 4 if you went to Sidwell in grade 3. That is basically what happens for 4th grade entry to St. Albans.
