Opioid addiction is getting out of hand. I heard a segment on NPR recently from a state medical examiner rattling off stats on opioid deaths--shocking.

Do we need to know what kind of underwear he was wearing?

That was the only interesting information. He wouldn't be caught dead in tightie whities.

I think it likely that his love of all things purple and sparkly included his underwear; so, likely purple thong bikini briefs. Perhaps some glitter.

The news was not from the Medical Examiner's office. Should we believe it yet?

That's the thing with irreplaceable artists -- they're irreplaceable. No one's tribute will satisfy. Let everyone do what they want to celebrate him.

Then that makes sense.

They were friends/dating then had a falling out and hated each other for years but reconciled a few years ago.

So...former lovers and friends.

Then it makes sense that she would do a tribute...however crappy it was.

+1. Someone made a comment that when she sang her tribute with Stevie Wonder it sounded like a nursing home duet.

Lol that's a great analogy. BET is having a tribute at their awards show. I may tune in for it, although it won't be difficult to top Billbaord's.

+1 And it's nice to see just how well loved he was too. His untimely death has really resonated deeply with so many people. Still can not believe he is gone.

I disagree. What would have made sense was Sheila E, Morris Day and the Time, and anyone that was ever a member of The Revolution. I don't care if Madonna was included in it, but a tribute to Prince without those people makes zero sense to me.
