But it's always a good idea for parents of young children to see this because it will cause them to question the advisability of CogAT prep and the intentions of those trying to sell it.


FCPS staff members chose to administer the custom form of the CogAT this year after it came to our attention that some students, in previous years, had prepared for the CogAT using the exact form of the CogAT being administered in FCPS.

As a test prep guy, not enough! Given that your child will make AAP with my help and that AAP means at least an extra $100,000 per year in annual income, I think you need to pay much more to ensure your asswipe's success in life.

Isn't it easier, more long lasting, and more predictable for children to study rather than relying on the services of teachers and educational consultants? I know many students without resources who do just this with outstanding results.

I am a teacher in second grade who has the power to determine your lovely child's future.... Will they be a success in life or not? GT will decide and I hold the key in my hand. How much would you as a parent pay for 15 or 16 GBRs? $2,000? $5,000? or even $10,000?

Really? I think all the poster was saying was you can be successful even if you don't get into AAP or TJ. I don't think he was advocating slacking for the first 18 years of life, just don't stress if your child doesn't make those, they can still be successful. That makes sense to me. No need to attack him. People on this board need to calm down and be more civil.
