Overall, he gets bored in the regular class and gets annoyed by repeating subjects. I want him to excel and get out of the boredom mode, I am afraid his teacher has ruined it for him though with the low GBRS ratings!

His one teacher didn't ruin it for him. The GBRS is developed through a committee including the AART, the teacher, an administrator and possibly another teacher all looking at work samples, asking a lot of questions and sharing observations. I've sat on several of these committees. They're pretty intense, and I can assure you that it's not the teacher just sitting there spitting out a number.

My DD got a 142 in WISC and we are reasonably hopeful that it will beat her low GBRS (which is 8), so as far as I can tell, you are looking amazingly good with your scores!

Thanks for the replies. So you think the low GBRS won't matter?

Just the new scores you are submitting for the appeal.
So do I need to mention the WISC score in this appeal form in the first line or I need to mention WISC-4 which one is right ?
Sorry for blunt question. But making sure Im filling right thing.

Hope we have last year's data to compare.
If we assume 13000 kids average each grade, then we have about 15% eligible for the current 2nd grade, in-line with recent years except last year. Last year, the total found eligible is about 500 more, assume most are in the 2nd grade bracket, so will be about 20% for last year 2nd grade.
