Since 1988 (last title), ND has only played in two national championship games with last year being one of them. In summary, 1988-2026. Nada.

The PP was correcting someone who implied it was novel that there might be no SEC team in the championship game this year, when just last year there was no SEC team in the championship. I think they’re implying that they’re pretty evenly matched. I personally would separately Indiana from the other three which are pretty close. But they’re all good/great teams so who knows.
