What I don’t understand is why Latinos voted for Trump after the remarks about Puerto Rico and Mexico and why Indians seemingly ditched Kamala for Trump. They didn’t want to see a daughter of India male history?
Why is it only the black race that has ethnic pride? Obama would’ve lost in 2008 if black people didn’t vote in droves for him

It’s a strange political situation being Arab American and Muslim or Christian but also white on your ID or college application.
I think people need to understand the community has diversities and complexities among race and class that are hard for Americans or even natives from the ME to even identify.
For example, are Arabs Asian, white, or African? Is an Egyptian African? According to the US, they’re white.
Arabic is also not the only language Arabs speak. Asyrrian is still a language and so is Kurdish. I even know many Arabs who will quietly admit their grandmothers or grandfathers were Jewish but intermarried or converted because they didn’t want to move to Israel and lose their money and land behind in the Me.
There are lots of reasons and complexities in this community and just screaming Gaza doesn’t cut it.
I guess you’d also be surprised to learn there are even some Muslim Zionists or folks that served in the IDF or US military
Well yeah, there’s tons of Druze in the IDF. They’re mostly used as cannon fodder. I imagine they too will get ejected from the country eventually.

In their own words they knew their power, they knew what they were voting for and they knew the consequences.

Nobody genuinely expects anything good from Trump. They expected to "send a message" to Harris and for Harris to win and do better. But instead, they cost her the election and will have to deal with the next 4 years of chaos, mayhem, death and destruction to befall Palestinians.
She unfortunately would have lost even if she won Dearborn.
Exactly. Not sure why Democrats are so anxious to scapegoat the Muslim community. How many Gazans have been killed under Biden/Harris? I believe it’s over 45, 000 and 70% are women and children.
Disgusting.
Yes the week before the election Trump was meeting with the Muslim in Michigan. The Harris campaign was meeting with Michigan Jewish voters to triple down on her support for Israel! This is criminal incompetence.
I’ve posted this before and it stunned me too. Why would they do this. It’s beyond incompetence - it has to be. I assume it was trying to send a message to people in Dearborn and other communities to Gf themselves. How could it be anything else?

The uncommitted campaign did a lot of damage to a candidate who is up against a mountain of disinformation so spare me. Was she perfect? no. does Biden have a bad policy on Gaza? Absolutely yes.
But when one is under a threat of somebody like Trump, you don’t start splitting the coalition. The spillover went to many, many states. I know I was on the ground of North Carolina and spoke to young people who got sucked up into this uncommitted story. When we knew Trump was the nominee was the time to stop this BS .
Yup. They underestimated Trump and thought it was safe to split the coalition and that's why we have Trump.
But that's because you still see Trump as so much worse than Biden. Here's the thing, when a party/government can't draw a line at genocide, there is no redemption. I'm sorry. Ultimately, all of these politicians are bought and sold to the highest bidders. Trump will funnel our hard earned tax dollars to his own private interests and Israel. The Democrats will funnel it to Israel.
I'm not okay with any of it.
-- Harris voter who's sick of the blame game. The buck stops at the person who is running this government NOW.
Well ok. Now we've heard the insight from someone who can't see further ahead than an inch from their face.
