Exactly. Not going to get upset about a non-candidate making a verbal gaffe. Trump has insulted me time and again over the years and he is running for president.
But you sure freaked out at a comedian's joke.
It represented the views of the campaign and was not actually funny. They just have the opening act say it so Trumpy can feign innocence? I know you don't care about what most Puerto Ricans thought (typical)
Whether you find it funny or not, that is your right. I personally didn't think it was appropriate either, but I find it hypocritical to get upset at what a comedian said and not be bothered by a non-candidate's insult (who is supposedly the leader of the party). In your own words, I know you don't care about what half of US population who do not share your political views thought.
Called out Biden as wrong
Can you call out Trump saying a BS story about Haitians eating cats and dogs as racist? How about the the appropriateness of the other opening rally speaker saying the entire Democratic party is degenerate? The speakers represent his campaign so essentially his beliefs.
Call a spade a spade. I'll wait.
Ok thank you but my OP was in response to someone who said they are not bothered by a comment from the sitting president since he is not the candidate.
I can also call the whole Haitians fiasco as racist. If a speaker at a Trump rally truly called the entire Democratic party (ie the other half of the population) degenerate, then I would also consider it inappropriate, but if that speaker said the Democratic party (like the politicians) is degenerate then I won't find it inappropriate because name calling seems to be the norm for both parties
Curious if you're still voting for Trump despite the racist Haitians incident.
Also curious if you've called Trump out for calling people scum and vermin.
I am still voting for Trump because I believe he will be better for the economy and the world stage. That's just my opinion, and I don't need anyone to agree or disagree. I don't feel that Harris is her own person and that she is just being a puppet for others in the back, just like Biden has been for the past year.
I have not heard Trump call people scum or vermin and don't know the context for such rhetoric. But again, if he generalized and said all democrats (including the average Joes and Janes who don't agree with him politically) are scum then I would call it out too. If it's only to the politicians from the Democratic party, then I won't because it's not like they have not done the same to him.
Have to disagree with you on both. Your opinion on the economy is not based on economics, history or math. And, yes, Trump has indeed demonized democrats as a block, "absolute garbage" and "scum" and "horrible people" and he has done it repeatedly, far more than any politician on the left. He's also demonized many other groups of people.
You're entitled to your opinions but you're not entitled to alternative facts.
