Isn’t this what you’d expect from a rock star? Since when did celebrities (especially rock stars) become a moral compass. This is exactly the trope of a rock star. I’d be more surprised if he was faithful.

I'm wondering why people are getting so wound up about this. Many rock stars are having affairs. Now there is a baby, who I hope has a good life. So many actors do the same thing - without the baby part.

He’s not. He’s typical. He at least acknowledged the baby. Many famous men have illegitimate children they do not acknowledge.

It's because Dave is charming and played up the "nicest guy in rock" image. Fans and the public are so easily swayed by it. It's not like these rumors are well hidden either. People chose to ignore it.
