Ivanka looks terrible in that photo. She reminds me of an Addams family member.
Anonymous wrote:I thought the cutout dress looked fine and appropriate for a girl her age. Cutouts look bad on flabby ladies like me.
That said all the adults involved in this are terrible.

Why did Ivanka bring her purse on stage? Planning a quick exit? No backstage area to stash it? No underling to hold it? Bizarre.
I hadn’t zoomed in until now; her new face is really different, isn’t it?

From her speech last night
Setting aside fillers/procedures for a moment. The makeup and to a lesser extent the hair are truly, truly inexplicable. It’s aging her, it looks bad. This is a woman who looked good and dressed reasonably before, what happened? Does she have some sort of vision problem? Why is she so attached to this look? How do women get stuck in these kinds of ruts?
I have a British friend who dresses and does herself up like this and will forever . I don't think it is a rut so much as a lifestyle choice - she is willing to put in the time and money for extensions, daily full make up and dressing to the nines in a sort of "ab fab" way and will until shes 80 or 800. I actually think she looks fabulous, in her way, and enjoy being around her and admiring her attention-getting look. She also has a big personality . I occasionally wonder if I should put in a bit more effort. But I'd be exhausted! I agree that Guilfoyles mouth/lip filler threw me, but overall, it's a "look". Blame Real Housewives!

She's wearing a strapless bra which always looks like it's falling. The dress fit is fine, it just looks like she was seated for a while and forgot to pull the dress down once she stood up.
Why would you wear a strapless bra with a regular dress? I thought this may be the case but as a 34DDD I cannot comprehend this choice!! LOL
Another member of the itty bitty titty committee here. When there’s nothing to hold up, they aren’t uncomfortable. I used to wear one every single day. The bras with straps used to me look weird - either too padded or not padded enough.
There’s much better options on the market now.
I see, I see… not needing straps… it sounds glorious! I will never know what that feels like 😭

What’s going on with her arm and hand?
So wives wore red and daughters wore white?
Aieee - that is true and really, really creepy.

Ew. The cut outs. WTH.
DP. You do know that young girls are wearing cutout dresses these days… right? Totally on trend. She looked adorable and age-appropriate.
Not appropriate for the event.
Oh please. I am the biggest Trump detractor and I was the one Jeff referenced in his daily post who said Vance's wife needed to burn those effing scrap shoes. So I am no stranger to criticizing Republicans' style or lack thereof. The cutouts were fine for the event.

+1 She’s 17. That’s what the kids are wearing. I criticize her idiot parents for letting her on the stage at all, but the look was fine. And she refrained from grabbing at her crotch on national television like her dad’s girlfriend did.
She’s very pretty and a child. Let’s criticize her parents for putting her out there but there’s no need to say anything negative about a child. Let’s do better.
This. No criticism of those <18 (and those criticizing the cutouts haven't tried to shop for a teenager lately).
