Super aggressive on D and athletes all over the field. They are going to give top teams fits. Robo did just enough to get the W. In the first game YT was the better team for 3 quarters and Madison just kept fighting back led by a dominant 2nd half by their face off guy.
I wish Langley and McLean were playing Madison in the regular season. Seems like we have five really solid teams with a shot here. Battlefield feels like a distant sixth now after that stinker against Indy but with their defense and goaltending they can still be in the mix if they can lock a team down in the playoffs and win a close, low-scoring game. Shaping up to be a great season.
as of now, it looks like any one of the big five (Yorktown, McLean, Langley, Robinson, Madison) could beat any of the other four on any given day. all five have some unknowns and some work to do to prove that they are as good as the others. but it is hard to see anyone competing with these five.

Much better. The game was back and forth the entire time and came down to the last possession AND McLean was playing their back up goalie. McLean showed that they are more than one player on offense and people better not sleep on them or #4
Mind the gap, here comes the hype train….
In the end, McLean lost. All that really matters is the final score.
On another train, the high powered Yorktown attack, with by pocket Hercules, put up surprisingly few goals.
