Is Biden the president or not?

If there are “protective sides” it’s ultimately because he decided to have them.

Incredible how they frame these pieces as Joe Biden just being a helpless old guy who has no control of anything and is an endless victim of circumstance.

I mean - those articles are written for people like you, you know? Republicans who are hopping angry about everything in their lives and enjoy being angry about everything else, too, and enjoy the process of feeling like they’re smarter than everyone. The mainstream media has such a pro-Republican slant but you don’t know that and you assume the “liberal media” (or I guess Tucker is calling it “legacy media” now) must be friendly to Democrats, so this seems like mind blowing info to you.

But it’s just more of the anti-Democratic narrative pushed out by a GOP owned media.

ah, the contempt shown for US working class.

these educated elites that control the Democrats simply hate the working class.

Democrats support:

Unions
Growing wages
Healthcare opportunities for workers
Social Security
Medicare/Medicaid
OSHA rules so people are in safe working environments
the 5 day work week
the 8 hour work day
Child labor laws

Somehow, the GOP opposes all of these things.

So please tell us how the liberals are "anti-worker" or anti-working class.

(and please don't bleat on about open borders, because democrats do not support open borders either, and, there are no open borders. Yes, Immigration needs to be dealt with, which is why everyone supported the bi-partisan immigration bill that the GOP decided not to endorse)

NP. I think the GOP says constantly that they support working class people but then never do anything legislatively to demonstrate that support. They like to talk about trucks and taking down the elite but that’s the extent of their support. The working class has bought into this lie because on the surface it appears that way. The GOP is great at “average joe cosplay” while giving rich old white guys all the benefits of their policies.

Please don’t miss that whatever you think about GOP “average Joe cosplay” it has yet to be well challenged by the Democrats. Basically, the Democrats’ hustles set the bar so, so low that they struggle to prevail against the GOP. If they want to be serious about beating the GOP, a meaningful upgrade in policies and messaging is required.

While I personally find the Democratic "divide and conquer" identity politics abhorrent, it does seem to be effective against Republican messaging. If you can convince voters that Rs are racist and sexist, then naturally it'll be easy to get the POC and women vote, which is a huge portion. So although Rs have a more compelling message to the white working class, the Ds have a compelling message to the non-white working class, and that's going to make this race competitive.

Have you looked at the polls? Sheesh! Trump is doing so well *because the non white working classes are shifting to him*. He's racking up support among Latinos. He's even getting some support from blacks.

Former President Donald Trump is ahead of President Joe Biden in all seven swing states, according to new polls as the 2024 presidential race heats up.

Trump leads Biden by 4% in Arizona, 1% in Michigan, 3% in Nevada and 3% in Wisconsin, according to four polls released Wednesday and Thursday by Emerson College Polling/The Hill.

Trump is also ahead of Biden by 3% in North Carolina and 4% in Georgia, according to polls released Wednesday by the Marist Institute for Public Opinion.

Meanwhile, an Emerson College survey released last week shows Trump leads Biden by 4% in Pennsylvania.

The Emerson College polls were all conducted with 1,000 registered voters, and they have a 3% margin of error, which means that Trump is at or within the margin of error in Michigan, Wisconsin and Nevada.

He is also within the 3.6% margin of error in North Carolina, per the Marist poll, which was conducted with 1,197 registered voters.

A breakdown of the polls is available here:

That’s very bad news for Trump the way actual voting results are comparing to the polls beforehand. He’s in a lot of trouble and we haven’t even gotten through summer yet.

The Center Square Voter’s Voice poll released Wednesday asked voters, “When it comes to President Joe Biden, do you approve or disapprove of how he’s handling his job?”

The survey found that most voters disapprove of the job Biden is doing, with 55% saying so and only 45% saying they approve of the president’s work.

TCS VVP Biden approval overall

Kate Guenther | The Center Square
Women rate the president better, giving him a 47% approval rating while 52% disapprove.

Men, though, are less impressed, with only 41% approving of his job as president and 58% disapproving.

White and Hispanic voters rate Biden roughly the same, with 58% disapproval and about 40% approval.

Black voters favor Biden much more, with 75% approving of the job he is doing as president, compared to 20% who disapprove.

Notably, true independents, which are independents who do not lean to one party or the other, rate Biden poorly. Only 32% of true independents approve of Biden’s job as president, while 60% disapprove.

The poll was conducted in conjunction with Noble Predictive Insights this month, querying 2,510 respondents nearly split between parties along with 340 true independents. The margin of error is +/- 2.1% for likely voters.

Hopefully democrats can stop Trump with there fake lawsuits because Biden is polling very poorly because of the terrible job he’s done.

When you start talking about fake lawsuits, you show that you will never hold him accountable. Democrats are an awfully powerful people if they can control the minds of all of the people in the legal system across the entire country. Wow.

FYI Before Casey Harper became President of Center Square, he “previously worked for The Daily Caller, The Hill, and Sinclair Broadcast Group. A graduate of Hillsdale College, Casey's work has also appeared in Fox News, Fox Business, and USA Today.”

Even if his disapproval his high, Trump's is higher. People are finally beginning to pay attention to things and as they do, the numbers will likely improve.

WI Trump 45%, Biden 42% MoE 3%
NV Trump 44%, Biden 41% MoE 3%
AZ Trump 46%, Biden 42% MoE 4%

And Biden raised $53 million in February to Trump’s $20 million. Biden is opening 40 field offices just in Wisconsin.

I'd like to know how and where these campaigns will be spending loads of money in an effort to attract voters. We already know all there is to know about these elderly and unpopular candidates. I'm certain this money could be invested in a worthy cause to help Americans who need help the most.
