No. I'm not saying FOR SURE that he's in a slower speed in real life. But the life he set up for himself and his late wife was to hang at the lake house and play pickleball. We don't know how much he wants a go-getter/ carpe diem woman vs a woman who enjoys the simple life.

You are sounding like he is a typical, sedentary 70 something.

Most people that age do not have his physique, do not play any sport and do not own a lake house.

He is way above average for his age.

He also WENT ON A REALITY TV SHOW!!!! So, above all else, I think that shows were is mind set is these days. Up for adventure for sure!

Yeah, he also seemed really happy and excited about the helicopter ride, atv etc. Leslie seems a better fit for him if he wants to continue to have those sorts of adventures. He does seem to feel those young-again feelings with her. And that's a wonderful thing! Theresa seems a little frail and brittle to be a good match for him.

At Faith's and at Theresa's they were literally visiting their homes, or at least a home (I think at Theresa's they were filming at her kid's house? And at Faith's it was her ranch?)

Was there no suitable house for filming with Leslie in Minneapolis? What is that about? I can't imagine that loft place, whatever it was, being what the producers would prefer -- hometown is about seeing how they live, and under the circumstances we didn't see much of that with regard to Leslie.

Leslie is a long-time single mom with little money, from what I understand. My guess is that she lives in a small apartment that wasn’t suitable for filming.

I noticed this also and wondered why they didn't show a home. Faith's location seemed to be somewhere she had her horse, not her home.

In what way is Leslie a go-getter though? She lives in Minneapolis, is a fitness instructor (so probably PT), and presumably spends a lot of time with her family. Fitness+family-oriented seems like a very good fit with him. Yes, she dated Prince but that was a loong time ago.

Wait! What? How do we know she dated Prince?
. I would need proof like photos not hearsay

Her son posted a photo of himself as a baby at Prince's home. Not sure if that's proof enough but it doesn't seem that far fetched to me that she had a brief relationship with Prince. I'm sure tons of women did, and Leslie was obviously pretty hot.

I could see her being happy with a guy like Gerry. He's a solid, decent man, but he doesn't seem boring or super vanilla to me. He's very fit, has at least one tattoo, and was pretty passionate with her even in front of the camera for the whole world to see.

I forgot about this. Prince to Gerry ... lol. I would not want Gerry if I were her.

She's had a history of bad relationships with guys who cheat. Maybe a stable, financially comfortable, fit, family-oriented man would be great for her at this stage in her life. He's definitely vanilla, but the opposite never worked out for her.

This is exactly what was running through Leslie’s brother’s mind during hometowns.

If Gerry is, at heart, at a time in life where he wants to keep it simple, then Faith and Leslie are not going to be the right "speed" for him. Theresa might be more on that speed level.

That doesn't mean there is anything wrong with Faith, or Leslie or Theresa or Gerry. It's just a matter of finding someone who wants to live life at the same pace as you.

Yes, good point. Although I find Theresa quite boring compared to the other two, maybe that’s better suited to him at this stage in his life.
