DOJ is used to flipping witnesses to get to the top. This isn’t a case of leveraging a murder, extortion or loansharking conviction to get to the boss. It’s far more complex because the First Amendment is implicated. She’s a peripheral player using political clout and connections on behalf of the key plotters. Eastman possibly could further implicate her but he’s not going to.

I’m not sure of the DOJ’s appetite for prosecution given the rabid stupidity of the GOP these days, but I don’t think Ginni’s corruption is going to get a hand wave regardless of where her equally atrocious spouse occupies his time.
