And once the shock of the announcement and change literally overnight new doctrinal position they announced a program to help the shellshocked church deepdive into the issue and promised not to be biased but weirdly only invited speakers and teachers from one side of the issue.

Basically they all lied after the wife of the head pastor went public with her opinion on the matter and with deep and gross corruption made the church conform to Jen’s social media presence.

They are all total frauds.

I don’t remember them ever sharing the scriptures that led them to that new stance. They said they found them, and they encouraged others to do the research, but even when people asked for clarity and direction—people WANTING to come to the same conclusion and previously unable to justify it—Jen wouldn’t respond. I always hoped they would because I would have shared it. So if they did, please post where to find it! Maybe she will write that book.

They did talk a lot about studying scripture and praying through it, and counsel from others too. That may have been more Brandon trying to be thorough, patient, and thoughtful though, since he was both father and pastoring a church. He couldn’t just flip a switch. He was responsible for a congregation trying to represent a unified front together and all understand truth. Her behavior ever since then suggests she’s probably more than willing to flip any switch she feels like whenever she feels like it. Based on the number of people who left their church soon after, they obviously weren’t able to offer any explanation that sufficed for at least half the crowd.

Glennon also doesn’t sponsor nearly any products that I’ve seen. She has ads on Spotify and even Abby does some like Home Foods or whatever that Neal prep is but Glennon doesn’t shill at all. Now she’s married to someone who can also be paid to speak so they have better revenue potential than big sis

Any thoughts about why Glennon has been able to keep her audience and still sell lots of books and have higher profile media appearances and Jen hasn't? Is it because Glennon is perceived as more authentic? It seems to me that she's still pretty high profile while Jen is a minor guest on shows like The Tamron Hall Show which no one really watches.

Yes! The post above about how Jen made a big serious theological deal ( serious for her at least) about her new LGBT position, BUT- presto- now sex whenever is fine, no questions, no accompanying Bible study, no big announcement like she did with her daughter- it's just weird. And sad. You phrased it so well.
Never mind the sex- maybe a new study- " for the love of money"- would be most helpful here.

I am confused. Jen is not married but travels with her boyfriend. Now I read that she did some weird online presentation involving sex toys, etc.? What is the deal? I know enough fairly liberal Christians to think that this may even push their envelope? It seems that she is lost and looking for an audience but possibly alienating many along the way. Not saying that single, progressive Christians are celibate by and large, just that for many, their sexual relationships or activity may be something more dignified than this scenario.
