I cannot comprehend MLM - especially with beauty products. I can understand it before the internet, especially in rural areas where there aren’t always products available in the nearest store and you couldn’t just get online and buy from there. But sales representatives for a company made sense back in the day..
Like there are so many high quality and ethical products that you can just…go online and buy directly from the company. I use a non drug store brand skincare and I either order online or just go to Ulta or Sephora. There are so many products and ways to research and try new things best for your needs and I don’t need an influencer to tell me to buy something /directly from them. I’m not against beauty bloggers or YouTubers who know what they’re talking about and can give good suggestions review a product to see if it would be good to try.
Jen just shilling Beauty Counter when she’s not a skin care expert or beauty guru or makeup expert is so blah.
