None of the jv’s are good, even at the top privates. Better off riding the pine on varsity and atleast practicing with the varsity. The more pt the better.

Key there is to carve out some playing time (or even start) on a decent to good high school team. Players on JV won’t grow as fast.


I think that depends on how good the teams are and how much pt can be had for a 9th grader playing on varsity or even a good jv team.
Again, there could be players swapped out after winter break it depends on who is performing and who is not.

Key there is to carve out some playing time (or even start) on a decent to good high school team. Players on JV won’t grow as fast.

A full high school spring is also a game changer for some kids and that is a big reason why there is movement between blue and orange after freshman year. There are always a few kids that take major steps forward.

Stars. Stars is the feeder to Orange. Orange feeds Blue.

I think they are still doing that. Maybe the players who play two travel sports will just take the bench time. Seems hard to do 2 sports like this

Yes, I understand that they have rules that pertain to the masses. My comment is that they need to be given the berth several others have in the past. Miss X amount, sit out a half of the 1st game, etc.

Several of those girls are far and away the best athletes on the team. The coaches will just need to be more lenient with them, and Orange hope they can be there as often as they can.
