I don't think it's weird. This is pretty consistent for Kanye West. He's always been one to speak his mind and not care about the backlash. I don't think this family was prepared for this though.
This is exactly why anyone who isn't as dumb as a post would not have married him after his deranged incident with Taylor Swift.

I love that he’s suffering! If he had divorced some non-famous woman or B-list celebrity, he would have treated her like trash and walked all over. He would use all his power to get whatever he wanted. His struggle with this divorce means Kardashians are fierce. It makes me love that family, to be honest. I don’t think there’s a “normal” level of anger involved in making a music video where you literally act out and glorify killing your ex wife’s new partner for your millions of fans to see and enjoy.
