They were lean Democrats in the presidential race on Nov 3. Good predictors I hope.

They started that early if the Twitter fees of my rwnj family members is any indication.

My 7th grader told me she was so stressed out over the election today that she wanted additional anxiety medication. Her anxiety has decreased noticeably since Biden won, until today.

I am prepared for two losses.

I apologize but I cannot offer condolences for the Republican losses tonight. Loeffler can dry her tears with the money she made selling out the country to covid then snuggling up to her innocent and powerless husband.

Losses? Have results been announced yet?

I've been saying the same. Romney and Murkowski are the ones I'll be watching. I could see Murkowksi caucusing with the Dems, because she's already an Independent and has shown she can win an election without the Republican Party.

I also wouldn't count Romney out. More than anyone in the Senate, he has nothing to lose. He has already stuck his neck out far enough with his impeachment vote that whatever damage he would incur has already happened. He has had his shot at the top job so no more presidential ambitions. He has a strong sense of ethics that he associates with what he learned from his father. And he is just really grounded with a great family.

I could see him announcing that he will caucus with Dems to make Schumer the Majority Leader, even though he intends and will continue to vote conservatively on policies, judges, etc. He wants a normal, functional government that adheres to the Constitutional norms.

I have stopped counting on ANY Republican senator to do the right thing, when it really matters. They're all talk, and pearl clutching.

I keep telling myself I am but I don’t think I am actually am.

But holy sh*t if we pull this off, I will be ecstatic. Like the day they called for Biden level.
