I got my dress at Ellies!
Thoughts: I actually think this year's pairings are better than last. But the one who has a boyfriend she's pining over shouldn't be allowed to be getting married. I know it's good TV but not at all fair to the guy. Also she's 25! Way too young. And, the scientist getting her PhD married to the beer salesman seems like a bad idea.
There aren't the same options among black men as there are in other races, so if a black woman wants to marry a black man she may have to be with someone who doesn't have the same educational or other accomplishments.
That you are insinuating there aren’t accomplished educated black men is atrocious.
DP. I think maybe PP misspoke a tad? I am a black woman and it is simply a fact that there are not as many black men with the same educational accomplishments as black women. Statistically at most predominately white colleges there are 2:1 black women to black men and at HBCUs it’s 8:1. Black women also earn more on average. Also add to that that black men marry outside of their race with greater frequency than black women and it means there can be a lot of competition.
Thank you for being the voice of reason here and citing actual facts.
You shut down hysterical Karen who loves to virtue signal by finding racism anywhere and everywhere , even where it does not exist.

Reminds me of The Dating Game when they had serial killer Rodney Alcala as one of the bachelors. He was chosen by the bachelorette but she refused to go out with him because he just seemed too strange; she could have lost her life.
