I was going to post the god-awful photo of Trump in see-through white golf shorts but decided against it. If I change my mind. I'll post it elsewhere. You should be careful about saying how ridiculous or how foolish Obama looks of you don't want it reciprocated.

Both things can be simultaneously true. Obama doesn't look good in those pants and Trump looks ridiculous in those shorts. No need to confuse political agreement or disagreement for good sartorial choices.

There is an easy way to find out whether MO decided a "natural" style is unacceptable in the White House. Locate her photos before the White House and see how she wore it then, when she was free of public person pressure.

I don't know that people would have complained about "natural" hair. It's not about natural vs. not, it's about the final result and execution. If it looked good, no one would complain. For what it's worth, I find that straightened AA hair often looks lifeless and limp. But I have a daughter with super curly hair so I certainly sympathize with the amount of work it takes to make it look good. It's a solid 20 minutes a day routine (on short hair!), and most mornings just don't have that.

Spare us your quibble that some people wouldn't have complained about MO's 'natural hair' and the final result and execution. Some states now have to pass laws to protect the wearing of natural hair.
