I teach there. It’s gorgeous. Ignore the negative comments.

Gorgeous seems like a stretch. More like very nice in parts.

I agree about W&M, there is not much to look at. The town is pretty tho.

JMU is clean and well landscaped. Stone buildings are nice. VT is nice looking. UVA is kinda dirty and drab. VCU has some nice buildings, but the areas outside campus are very urban.

DP. Right, other than the Sunken Garden, Lake Matoaka and amphitheater, Crim Dell, Wren Building, to take a few examples, not much to look at at William & Mary.

DC’s dorm was gutted and renovated in 2018, and it’s a helluva lot nicer than I expected.
DC’s classrooms are clean, well-lit, and outfitted with the latest technology. He studies in the Rotunda, Music Library & Law Library (the staff don’t mind that he’s an undergrad), all clean and quiet. I wish DCUM would give specifics when making sweeping statements, but, you know, it’s DCUM.

Me too, all renovated dorms, new dorms, never seen so much as a speck of trash other then graduation day when there was confetti on the lawn.

To my eye, W&M and UVA are nicer campuses than JMU, VT, and VCU by some margin.

So many strange comments.

They are by the parents and students who didn't get in or didn't have the stats to apply. Or students from the college's rivals. Standard stupid stuff.

I don't know about W&M but as an alum of UVA I am embarrassed by how ugly and unkempt our school is these days. It is like they've given up. And the current student population certainly isn't helping do anything to keep the area looking tidy. It is a complete dump.
