The following are the most popular reasons women give according to the Guttmacher Institute, the research arm of Planned Parenthood, the largest abortion provided in the country:
73% of women say they can’t afford a baby right now
48% of women who say they don’t want to be a single mom or are having relationship problems
12% say possible problems with their health
1% of women said they were aborting because they were raped
The majority of women had an abortion because of financial situations, relationship problems, having a baby would change their lifestyle, or they don’t want people to know they had sex or were pregnant.
Only 13% of those who had an abortion said it was due to health or rape, even though what you hear is that the central focus of abortion is women’s health. The majority of abortions are not for those reasons.

What you feel is simply incorrect though. There is nothing about abortion and how it's done and available in this country nowadays that is convenient at all. Sure there may be some women who do it casually and have had multiple abortions due to carelessness, but the idea there are "many" women like this is ludicrous and insulting.

Physicians are saying it's not possible for mother to be better off to abort while she's already in labor, than to allow the baby to be born alive.
How many mothers decide to abort after they’ve already started labor?

Here's the story of a woman who had to go to 40 weeks to give birth to a baby who suffocated to death after 30 minutes. No good outcome here. This is what you anti-abortion freaks want - to have suffering like this because you somehow think it's better to force a mother and baby to suffer than to humanely end a pregnancy at 23 weeks.
You can't deny you think what this mother went through is the preferred outcome. Shame on you. You wouldn't put your dog through such an outcome, but you'd do it to a baby.

In 2006, at 21 weeks pregnant I went in to my ob/gyn for a routine ultrasound. My doctor told me they suspected my daughter had Trisomy 13. They said they needed to do an amnio to be sure. Then they asked if I wanted to terminate the pregnancy. I said, I wanted to wait until the results came back. I wasn't able to make that desicion without knowing for sure. They told me that the results would be back in 7-10 days and by that time I would be past 22 weeks and would not be allowed to have a medical abortion in my state. I had 45 minutes to make that choice. 45 minutes! I decided to wait for the results. That decision is the biggest regret of my life and I have played that conversation in my head over and over for the past 13 years? The results came back positive. Molly had a genetic chromosome disorder. Over the following weeks, I learned she had 2 holes in her heart, her brain was not formed properly, she didn't have eyes, she had a cleft palate, extra fingers and toes and barely functioning lungs. The only thing keeping her alive was me. They told me I probably wouldn't carry full term and if I did, her survival was unlikely. The truth was, Molly would suffer immensely if she lived past birth.
I carried Molly full term to 40 weeks, I gave birth with a team of doctors by my side and I held her in my arms for 31 minutes and watched my daughter suffocate to death.
Every single day after I found out the results were torture, delivery was torture, telling my children that after I had the baby, she would die was torture. Telling my family was torture. People would congratulate me on my pregnancy and I would smile and say Thank you because retelling my story over and over was torture.

He’s just saying that adoption agencies can do what they want. He isn’t telling then that they HAVE to deny certain adoptions. Small government.
Who is funding those adoption agencies? Where are they getting their children from to adopt out? I don't want my taxpayer dollars to go to an agency that refuses to adopt a child out to a Catholic couple (which is one of the restrictions on adoptions that the agency in question has in place), or Jewish families, or Muslim families, or gay parents.
