This post raises a few decent points...

That is somehow going to make up for the massive talent disparity between the two teams?

Please give me what you're smoking.

The point isn't about FCV at all. It was a honest question about how Loudoun actually works to transition their players to 11v11. All teams make the transition and I was just wondering how Loudoun manages it.

If they are solely focused on a 9v9 tourney that answers the question I guess.

When will FCV start preparing for 9v9 soccer? Oops too late.

FCV 07 parents hoping they do well in Jeff Cup down in 3rd level bracket so they can send the tweets that they are Champions.

Meanwhile Loudoun 07 will be battling top teams in the country in top bracket that FCV 07 cannot even qualify to play.

LMAO. Keep work on your juggling with size 5 balls.

Will they dominate like they are in zeroECNL divisions currently? All of the local clubs have playoff qualifiers except for Loudon.

They will dominate other 07 teams like they do currently. On the other hand, FCV will not get better which means U-13 DA record gets worse next year.

How have Loudoun 07 been preparing for 11v11?

Are you serious? They are getting ready to play top 07 clubs in the country this weekend for Jeff Cup top bracket. Saturday morning vs #1 team in OH then #2 NJ team in afternoon. That's the start then it gets tougher. They are really the only 07 area team that competes at that level of play.

But their parents said they’re going to dominate the league so they will?

So all games still 9v9? No 11v11 experience? No working with the size 5 even?

Good luck with that.

They’ll dominate 11v11 in ECNL because they been dominant in small-sided? We will see.

To the original question on this post, a lot of accurate information here. Loudoun 2007 red and MYS 2007 green are the top two 2007 teams - but yes, MYS green lost players (more than one) mid-season. FCV is probably #3, but yes, they have 3 great 2008s on that team. And Arlington 2007 might not be as good now, but yes, they will be getting new talent for next season. Re: Spirit, not sure what's to make of all the bashing, but if you have a player who just wants to be developed and get playing time, and doesn't care about being on a winning team, it could be a great option for your DC.
