Um. Did you read them before making this statement?
Yes, I did and a slew random articles on MS-13 activity in the US is hardly evidence of a local epidemic.

If MCPS is this hotbed of gang activity, it should be easy to produce a half-dozen WaPo articles of separate incidents at MCPS where charges were filed within the past year; otherwise, you're spreading unfounded rumors to support ulterior motives.

I just looked at the mcps Safety and Security at a Glance reports for all the downcounty consortium schools plus Gaithersburg, and every single one of them has a "0" by "gang-related incidents." Are people claiming this is a lie and there is a ton of gang crime in the schools? Yes, there is gang activity in the county but I would challenge people to show me examples of gang crimes that have occurred at schools. And you certainly cannot draw a conclusion that kids at certain schools *must* be in gangs because they are Hispanic or black.
Thanks for providing the only credible info. It’s reassuring there are 0 real incidents.
IF you are looking at that source for definitive information you are not getting the truth. I know for a fact one year in my child's school, that reports were made to CPS and Police about alleged child sexual abuse by an educator. The principal and vice principal told me they made reports. I made them too and so did friends. Yet, for that school year, the school shows 0 reports to police or cps. 0 incidents at all. I know for a fact this is also true with other schools.
Provide evidence or its hearsay.
It's not hearsay if I was personally involved.

Given that all "teenagers" 18 and under should be enrolled in school, are you saying that the second all the teenagers involved in the articles below, were immediately recruited between the ages of 18 and 19 after graduation?
By definition, when a teenager cannot be charged as an adult, they are minors that should be enrolled in school. Are we saying all 18 and under involved in the articles below were not enrolled at a MCPS location, and all were enrolled in Private Schools?
Are all these websites below just 'fake news' or written by Trumpers?
To your point - I do admit the gangs are getting smarter. From what I've seen, the activity is before / after school and not on school property. If it does occur on school property, intimidation seems to be how the gangs ensure it's never officially reported. However, it doesn't mean that it's not happening.
