But he'll still be there in flashbacks! Get on with it!

This!!!! they don't have to kill him! he was dead from jump! they can still use lessons from his life to relate to the present, they jump around their childhoods in the flashbacks anyway..its not like they are only doing those chronologically1

I noticed that too!

Agree! So boring I had trouble staying awake.

I'm an unabashed fan of the show and don't think every episode needs to be a blockbuster. I like the ones that show their everyday struggles that complete the picture of this family.

They want people to keep talking about it...which people are doing on this thread!

I love the acting on this show. But its starting to get WAY too drawn out with the "how does the fire start" piece. If they do more than 2 more episodes about this more its going to be ridiculous. Either show the event or just shift gears away and stick with more present stuff. It gets too
soapy and melodramatic with all the "clues"

This is why I've stopped watching, and just check this thread periodically to see if how Jack died has been revealed!

Same here. I take it that hasn't happened.

I have a bunch recorded, and will likely just watch the Beth and Randall parts.
They could have had some great story lines with Kate but I think the blew it.

Might tie in with that episode where Randall & Beth were fake smoking.

She layers/accessorizes which is a more recent way of styling.

I’m 4 years younger than the big three, so my older bro’s age and all of the girls I really looked up to.
I’d like to see what I saw growing up. Ranged from I Tonya style to Abercrombie/skater; flares. I think one time I saw her with the grunge plaid wrapped around her waist, I guess.

I’m going to give the producers the benefit of the doubt, I guess. But so far she looks like she’s dressing in the ‘00s and beyond.

The 90s invented layering. Have you seen My So Called Life?! Granted, this show is the late 90s where it was falling out of fashion, but good god I'd wear a t-shirt, a long sleeve and then a flannel over it.

My sister dressed like this in the '90s. Kate wants to go to Berklee, so I think she's supposed to be more artistic and "alternative". I think her style is a pretty accurate representation of what that looked like in the 90s.
