South Pacific in Arlington in what used to be Parkington. It was pretty big, always crowded, and mysterious and exciting. The Polynesian decor, food, and drinks with paper umbrellas were exotic for Virginia in the 70's.

And Alexandria, and Manassas Park, and several on way to PA. can you tell I like my Roy Rogers roast beef sandwich? Had a friend who worked there in high school back in mid 70s. And yes, I a man that old.

Does anyone remember the pan-Asian restaurant called Pacific in Sterling? It closed years ago but I loved that place. It was the first place I had mango sticky rice and it was soo good.

Used to bike there from Bethesda! Loved it. Never met anyone else who knew it.

I loved this place too. The best napoleons with custard and fruit on top.

Dinos is Cleveland park— we’d take our kid to an early NYE dinner there and then hang out.

Coppi's Clevland Park location. I loved that place.
The Cajun place on K Street in Georgetown under the Whitehurst, what was that called, Magnolia or something?
Belmont Cafe in Adams Morgan for brunch.
Lauriol Plaza when it was in its original location at the corner of 18th and S.

Yes loved the old Lauriol Plaza!

Yes! I lived around the corner.

I also miss Mr. Ks.
