Heros Green and M&D Black play 50/50 for all HS aged teams unless it is the playoffs of a championship tournament. Showcases are all 50/50 for those clubs. Why would anyone stay to ride the bench through HS, and how are those bottom half kids at those programs getting D1 offers? They wouldn’t, and it’s because they are good and they play.
Heros and M&D top teams don't do equal even if there's no playoff or champion. They both say they do. They both don't.
Weird, my kid’s m&d team does….and so does every other high school m&d team I know. Do you have some special insight that you can share?
It is cope. And they know it. They just want to blast it on DCUM because they have an audience. They prioritize winning at every level. It is not 50/50, not by a country mile
My kid plays for m&d, it is 50/50.
What age group?
One of the HS teams. The second the 8th grade season is over it flips to 50/50.
Definitely not true. They play to win.
You’re trying to tell people who actually have kids on HS age teams?
How do you know? Do tell.

Moco players are increasingly playing for Baltimore teams. My perception is that VA players tend to stay around DC. Are SSSAS girls becoming a larger part of the Capital Roster as Md players go to Baltimore?
BLC ending in 8th grade potentially accelerates the move for Md players to Baltimore.
This area should have two Elite clubs but only has one.
Really disappointing this is the status quo.
Can you share evidence that shows an increasing number of MoCo players are going to Baltimore? I don't think that's happening but am genuinely curious what the data shows.
I don't believe there has been a comprehensive analysis. However, someone on a different page looked at the 28 and 29 Capital Blue rosters. Only 1 SR girl and 0 GC girls. GC and SR are the best teams in Montgomery county every year. Their best players are going elsewhere as of late. It will be interesting to see the Cap Blue 2030 roster to see the breakdown of schools and geography.
I’ve also read on other pages that those are down years from a broader DC talent standpoint. Could that be the reason a few MoCO players fled to MD?

Does this surprise you? DCUM posters can't help but immediately turn every thread into a recruiting and Capital vs. others thread. Meanwhile, the OP asked about ideas for teams with good coaches and positive teammates. This place is whackadoodle.Anonymous wrote:Still sounds like no strategy after Capital try outs despite 35 pages.
