How would you know that level of detail for each 2015. Are you one of the parents or an admin/coach for FVU?

Anonymous wrote:Give it a &^%*ing rest. Union caps girls rosters at 18 for U13 and U14. Full stop. Go troll elsewhere VDA and stop deflecting from the fact you cut all but 5 of your 2012s. Some development over the last two years, eh.

Here is what I know: FVU won 2 age groups in MA Division, VDA also won 2 age groups and ARL won 1. Also, as an unbiased observer, the track record of CW seems as good or better than any coach at ARL or VDA. FVU facilities not as good and college recruiting not as successful. Sounds like each of the three clubs can stake a claim to being the best depending on what criteria you use. What am I missing?
Fair summation of last year and the past influence of CW. However the past few years have been an administrative nightmare. Families gave them some leeway but after 2 years of poor management many families are moving on. The 13s will be good. 12s will take a small step back. 11s and up will take major steps back.
This is true, except I think 12s will get hit a little harder than anticipated.
12s will be fine. Only team that will compete with them is VDA.
That team is about to drop 50-60% of the goals scored with their losses to other teams. They won’t be hanging out with Wilmington but they also won’t be looking at playoffs next year.
You must have FVU confused with ARL
ARL lost their best player but the team didn’t need her to be successful. They won’t change much. FVU is going to have a very hard time without theirs.
Lost 3

Two of those 2015s have never played up. But hey, it’s a roster of 22-23 kids so maybe it wont matter and they wont play.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:How about the upcoming U13 team? Did they find enough players where they aren't having U12 players play up?
The constituent clubs in FVU have how many travel teams? Take the four best players from those teams, and there you go. Why in the world would they need to drag U12 players up (unless they're just that good)?

FVU had a lot of younger players playing up.
No 2014 Q4–2015 group is going to keep up with a team that has six 2013 players playing down. That’s a huge advantage, and it’s a big reason why VDA U13 is looking so strong for next season.

This is true for next year. I’m guessing FVU also falls behind VRSC, McLean and Beach at the 2011/U16 age group.

I predict the FVU 12s will finish 3rd at best behind Arlington and VDA.
Charlotte is getting a playoff spot, and if Richmond gets their ringer back from the boys they can have something to say about it too.
