They were using her because she was easy. She had nothing they wanted or needed.

Seems like they were playing her not vice versa. I feel awful for her husband. Who now has to doubt the paternity of his kids.

He missed Day 3 of the draft to avoid the press conference at the end of the day. Getting counseling and being with his wife on Saturday (not Thurs, Fri or Sun) was just an excuse. He was in contact with them all day (which the Patriot press guy admitted then retracted).

They just didn't want Vrabel to face press questions that would have been embarrassing.

If she worked in his organization he wouldn't. But she doesn't. Her job is very different. I don't see why this is so hard to understand.

Exactly. People need to stop acting like poor her, fired because she's a helpless woman. She's a woman who was having an affair with the subject of her reporting. He wasn't. It's that simple.

Let me guess, you work for the government or government adjacent-industry in the DMV? You have no idea how tenuous it is to be a print journalist trying to make a living in the internet era.

So you think every female journalist is sleeping with her sources just to make a living?

No they aren't, but in the cutthroat world of today's modern journalism it is completely understandable to do what needs to be done to put food on the table.

OMFG, she’s not Jean Valjean.

Professionally maybe, but not personally. This was never going to sink him professionally.

When exactly did she start wearing a prominent cross necklace? Her husband is Jewish. I bet she started wearing one to try to manipulate this Catholic coach (trying to get him to dump his wife).

He was kissing her wearing his wedding band 6 years prior.

So what. Adults are allowed to be sexual. It's normal. Their marriage is not our business. Who knows what private arrangements either of them have in their marriages. Maybe his wife is aware -- very likely -- and is not mortified that her marriage is spread eagle, pun intended, on social media. Butt out and let people be normal sexual beings. So sick of this anti-sexuality attitude in America. It's bizarre.

The MARRIAGES aren't anyone's business. The AFFAIR is. When you're a public figure, you have a different deal. And sleeping with the subject of your reporting isn't ok. If I had an affair with the UPS guy it wouldn't impact either my job or the public because I'm not famous.

Then she probably ought not to have been this stupid, no?
