They are a bore.

I love it when women list their profession (VP, executive, etc.) or the college they attended in their profile on tinder. It's always a top 20 school like Michigan or Harvard LMAO. They are really impressed with themselves!

Your post is well-written.

I never saw the captain of the football team start a relationship with the mousy artsy girl (the "MAG"). However, I did see several instances where the football captain would hook up with a MAG, and then the MAG would treat the hookup as making her equivalent to the head cheerleader in social status and looks, when she was not.

The problem was that the MAG would wait for the football captain (or star running back) to call and ignore the mousy Dungeons & Dragons-playing boy, who was more likely to treat her as a girlfriend rather than a hookup. Later, when the football captain never calls, the MAG "settles" for the D&D boy and posts on DCUM about how there are no good-looking men available.

The captain of the football team wins the head cheerleader, no matter how many MAGs he has bagged, and they are happy. The MAG never receives the attention the head cheerleader receives, no matter how many times she hooks up with the football captain. If she is smart, and most are, she accepts and loves the D&D boy the best she can, and they are happy.

So the captain of the football team is a douchebag for treating the MAG as nothing but a booty call, and the MAG is an idiot for thinking a boy who has sex with her cares for her.

She may have been an idiot, but he is definitely a selfish ahole, and more than likely, will continue to be a selfish ahole after marriage.

The whole article is framed by examples and facts of her being out socializing with friends or herself, and men are no where to be seen. And if they are seen, they are fondling their phones for hours by themselves, in public or not.
