Since Trump's DOJ tried to use lawfare to illegally deport him and then charged him with human trafficking, yes, this is a bigly win for Kilmar, and a bigly loss for Trump.

The conservative 5th circuit as well as the Supreme Court ruled previously against the Trump administration with regard to Kilmar. The 5th circuit ruling was quite scathing.
