Ok, so just start with one and hope it works out? Are the Pre-ecnl feeder teams much of an indicator of future performance or does it all get shaken up at u13?Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Recognizing that 90% on this thread is worthless input from mostly disgruntled keyboard warriors, seeking some insightful thoughts in the context of 13/14 year old girls. Do the four ECNL programs have different cultures and perspective and development of talent? Is there a program(s) that has stronger coaching, culture, etc? I am looking for a pathway that develops my daughter and strengthens her joy for the game. I am starting to see clubs prioritize winning and inflating rosters at a very young age, which is causing us to think differently.
No clubs develop players, they just give access to platforms. Some have 'better coaching' but that should be taken with much perspective, it's better coaching in that they're coaching to get a result that the program is doing well in hopes of drawing better players year to year from other clubs. DMV soccer is a mess for girls and if you hear otherwise it's only because you're hearing peoples perspectives from situations that work for THEM, which isn't always the same for others.

MV has his favorites. All Brave got rostered. The man still thinks he is winning like last year.
