Just a friendly nudge here: families and players are all about picking schools that match their own goals, finances, and academic chops—definitely not yours. Trust me, they aren’t losing sleep over your thoughts on their decisions. So, let’s channel our inner cheerleader instead of turning green with envy or over analyzing. After all, these are just 16-year-old girls trying their best and picking their favorite/best fit.

“You have to remember that everyone is coming from a different spot. Some folks will use the recruiting process to get into the best academic school possible, regardless of the money involved. For others, the main focus is lowering the cost of college as much as possible. Some families are focused on playing for the "best" lacrosse program they can play for. All these decisions are fine as long as they meet the family's needs.
Trying to put your priorities onto other families' choices just doesn't make sense since everyone is coming from a slightly different place.”

Hmmm I don’t know. There are only 3 schools on the M&D list I’d be okay with my kid committing to. Capital may have 2 fewer so far but the schools are truly wow.
Funny, this garbage response is thrown out there every recruiting season. Capital parents and players enjoy their Ive league towers but reality is they never see the field. Capital is the only good club out there, don't even think about questioning it. lol
Of the 14 Capital players at Ivy programs last year: Over half (8) played every game, one played in 50% of the games, five played in fewer than 50% of the games, and four made All Ivy. (Unclear if any of those who played < 50% of the games were injured.)
This is a great fact-driven response. Regardless, when I read the post about the Capital kids getting into Ivy League schools but never seeing the field, I thought I’d be just fine with that. Nice to know they are having their cake and rating it too. Great year for Capital.

Hmmm I don’t know. There are only 3 schools on the M&D list I’d be okay with my kid committing to. Capital may have 2 fewer so far but the schools are truly wow.
Funny, this garbage response is thrown out there every recruiting season. Capital parents and players enjoy their Ive league towers but reality is they never see the field. Capital is the only good club out there, don't even think about questioning it. lol
