I think she tried to be cool about certain addictions, like gambling and smoking, to keep the even more destructive ones reigned in. But couldn't reign in her own controlling impulses when it came to her/their "brand," terrible for someone in recovery as others have pointed out.

What kind of event was this? It was at a theater and there's a lot of people outside-- could it be some kind of music or performance showcase the kids were putting on? I could see Medina showing up to that as a favor to JLo (or other parents) and not to support JLo.

Agreed. They most likely haven't got their ducks in order behind the scenes. We have seen this happen countless of times. They're playing nice until the statement is released.

They would have released a statement denying there was any issues. As annoying as they're, I highly doubt Ben would let this fester if fake for his kids sake.
