There is plenty now. Everyone I know who wants to vaccinate their children was able to secure a spot this week. It was maybe tricky for about 36 hours, and now you have plenty of options.
There is no reason to wait.
I’m busy. So are my kids. We’ll check in with the locations 5 mins from our house next week or two. Am not driving all over the dMv after school rush hour for an experimental shot so my kid can enter an indoor pool.
Look, we know you’re aren’t getting the shot at all. Just own it, saying your kids are too busy with play dates and tiddly winks is just laughable.

I had an appt for my kids today at a pediatric clinic in Wheaton, but when I got there was told they didn't have the vaccine yet. (But the website shows they do and allowed appts for kids 5-11. INFURIATING!!!) And of course all of the county clinics are booked solid and nothing is available through other providers for ten days or so.
But I booked appts for next weekend at Tyson's, so thx for the tip!! (And I'll keep looking for something closer and sooner.)
Please stay out of our state, communists. If you can't get your own house in order please don't mooch off the taxpaying citizens of Virginia
