Agree with this, and the stand down soldier too. Agree. Not about attacking Remy, rather the way Jen spins it. Totally agree with what’s being said here, Remy probably would be better off in the long run living with her dad.

The financial consequences (definitely—I had a friend sent home for drinking too much alcohol and they lost a ton of money) as well as the kink it throws in her junior year school year class work and credits are probably exactly why people figured the timing seemed strange. Not that she could or would be held “hostage” there otherwise… But if she was having a blast and if she had already made it past holidays and her dad‘s wedding without coming home, what’s a few more months? Timing seemed strange.

When I studied abroad in Spain, many people promised to come visit but because it's so expensive and life gets in way, no one came. I was 22 so NBD but she's awfully young. If they were promising to have family come visit and she went 4 months and 2 major holidays wo, then maybe she's really homesick
