I was just coming to post that! I guess they have some standards, after all. To answer your question, according to my research: Supreme Court certiorari votes are not publicly disclosed unless a justice publicly dissents or issues a statement respecting the denial (which did not occur here). The denial means fewer than 4 of the 9 justices voted to grant review (the "Rule of Four" threshold for hearing a case).
