I hope the exams guy gets called up to go there as well. Permanently.

All I can say is embarrassing for PA. Gave the job to someone who didn’t ask for it and clearly didn’t want it. She did it anyways and couldn’t take it.

Maybe she’s moving to Homeland Security Secretary or CFTC commissioner?

I’m shocked that anyone would give up such a plum job. It’s a dream job. Almost as good those 6-month rulemaking details.

Of course he’s not doing anything about it.

She didn’t ask for the job. Then she got here and was surrounded by miserable people who she sympathized with.

Who knows what ultimately made her decide to quit abruptly. But I don’t know how they find someone to run enforcement when they don’t really want them bringing anything but fraud cases. And the SEC has how many fraud cases per year? A handful, maybe.

Thank her? This must’ve been happening deep behind the scenes because all the interactions with her are usually pretty terse. She really didn’t seem to care much about the staff at all anymore than PA. If she left, it’s probably cause she didn’t feel it was worth her time and she doesn’t need the money or the steppingstone.

If true, I don’t get the sense many people will be shedding tears.

I know many people didn’t love her but she was supportive of the enforcement program. Who knows what will come next.

Good riddance! I hope a couple of other “directors” resign as well.

Couldn’t agree more. It’s not an impressive bunch. The exams guy is even less impressive than the judge and he was a GG holdover.

The exams guy is the most unqualified of the bunch.

I mean who wants to lead here right now.

Maybe her ad hoc telework requests to be closer to her dog were denied.

Fair. All I can say is that I had very little direct dealings with her, but she did not seem reasonable in those dealings.
